Why I was not expecting NBA?

I am in class and wanted to write about what happened yesterday. NBA board members had come yesterday and we were selected to have a session with them. I was sitting on one corner of III row of college auditorium when director announced the names of team members. They were from NIT warangal, NIT Nagpur and College of Engg Pune. One of them was young while other two were aged and were retired. But what happened during the interaction was more interesting rather than their physical appearance.
It was day 1 session 1. They wanted to know our view points on how better this college and what improvement it requires. As soon as question was shot, hands began to raise on which they exclaimed ' Oh! So many hands'. They were serious and mind bending issues that students raised from all which I was familiar, except that so many people wanted to have AC in their classrooms.

Psychologically the reason behind it may be that people had come from scorching heat in a closed and dim auditorium for which IMS is famous for. Seriously this has been a big concern which has either not been noticed or been not worked upon. Frankly before entering AC was on in Audi but we hardly felt any AC was running. Neither we were draining sweat.

Anyways it was my turn for which HOD will definitely going to beat me if I had told him this scenario. They asked who knows PSO, I raised my hand, this time were few hands and ironically I was one of those few hands. They called me down the stage and wanted to tell all those 4 points. Instead I interpreted that they were basking for course outcome. They completely rejected me and my answer. I turned my head down, pushed my tongue beneath my teeth and rewalked to my seat. Alas! lutiya doobo Di..

Anyways there were a few happy moments too when we agreed with their point that Private colleges have been opened like schools and that's what makes us different from NIT, IIT, MIT etc. However I feel to rebute with some children who raised wasteful opinions and questions about the college. But before that one disclaimer that I am neither a supporter from IMSEC nor I am an opponent student leader. But I am a neutral man who lives blunt (Stay neutral stay blunt). So when it was asked to differentiate between our college and MIT etc then some rightly said that they have research or project oriented syllabi rather than our theoretical only where teacher will come with a spoon and they feed us.

Not evensome trying to make a change in the college, students replied furiously but foolishly. One final year mechanical student said that I will make placements for Mechanical department separately. He may tell me how will he bring companies? Even this is the change you were trying to brought you must rethink and raise it in the comments. Then some said that they will end the attendance criteria system. Who tell them that these colleges have only been opened for you and if you don't attend for whom will it mean? If it had been ended the college wouldn't have survived. That's only to bring and show the crowd to the people so that teams like NBA come and see how much the campus crowd is. Some were saying that lengthy college durations. That's also not a valid point due to the above reason. Overall after being feeling guilt for not giving the right answer I was mentally torturing myself with all those bullshit responses of others who rarely got any chance. However some people were generous in their questions and replies too. It beloved me, making me overall neutral as I was before.

This was all what happened to me in the Auditorium. In next meeting teachers were called for the same type of interaction. After reaching class some people were really enthusiastic and asking "Kya hua? Kya hua?" I told them "Kuch nhi yaar, naam katwa Di IMS ki Maine". Then narrated all the above in a quick manner on which many of them agreed as if I have become the real Neta because the I have collected consensus from them is worth admiring. Every time teacher will come and ask me to pay attention to study, he changed my seat thinking will not talk but I resisted him and carried all my way. Sorry teacher!!

Now all the narration from here is all derived from two people only. Since the facts were too related with both the narrators we can say that they were right in their way. They were actually in the office of HOD where they were waiting for the NBA invigilators to come up and view their project. When they reached they started to question our faculties present there relating to their business. Upon cross questioning to them they became nervous at such a level that they were hardly been able to express themselves. And the fact is that our HOD was still in convincing the invigilators who were infuriated over not getting satisfactory answers. The chief virtual architect was absent on that day otherwise he might been able to handle all that. Anyways a bad day was that for all of us. Of course the worsened part was that students were listening the profuse reply, untendered questions and unseen expressions of all the men present in the office. Just suppose if the narration has been in such a way then how would the real case had been.
Listening to their anybody would have thought they have come to hit us hard with their wands and yes we were happy because the way department treated us being treated in their absolute and correct way. That's tit for tat. Not even this I had proclaimed that in anyway we will not be getting NBA accrediation this final time. Moreover why the college had thought to get an accreditation after establishment of 16 years where all nearby engineering colleges of the area have already been accreditated. I don't know what had happened in the background of it, but have just written what I have experienced and listened.
