Demonetisation Vs Digitisation: Let's fill the gap
With coming week, we'll complete one month of Demonetisation. Let press and media show the pros and cons of it doing alone and how it is letting some common people to survive in few pennies.
Let's discuss accepting that it will not going to be rolled back despite of our opposition's want. Today we'll talk and see how we can take Demonetisation as something new to be learnt and how it could be seen. Throughout the article I talk of middle class persons. I will not say them mediocre but the real Indians who can engage through this article of mine where many of them had bought a 4G phone and wanting it to expect their real need. So we'll talk which will make sense to all of us.
1. Using your debit card: Although its been very sad to listen that only 52% Indians possess accounts today but let's be optimistic and say we all middle class have a debit card which till noe has been used to withdraw money without even caring to change its pin once. Its time for us to make our parents prove how worthy their childrens are. Go and show them how to use POS machines for every transaction that they make. Ensure here that to input your pin by yourself and keep it hidden while typing on the machine. Change the pins at frequent intervals ayleast in a month if you're using POS for most of the transactions.
One of the biggest reason to use this service because its free throughout the December so at least till then enjoy the free services with deducting 2-5% of shopped amount from your debit card.
2. Using e-wallets: Tell them how you're using PayTm and others to save money and get cash back so that you can recharge your girlfriend's number. Sometimes parent are in such a haste they would hardly need some cash back. No worry for you then, ask them to load money on n wallet because sometimes there are also offers on recharging your e-wallet. Make them feel nostalgic by showing them PayTm POS in autos, shops and TVC crazing over the TV. Tell them what PayTm can do movie tickets, TV recharge, metro recharge etc. Overall become the salesman of these wallets in your house.
3. Use apps to locate ATMs: There is hardly will any type of app that has not yet been posted on Play Store. Moreover Google has also started showing the nearby ATMs while PayTm shows where your money through wallet can be accepted. There are apps which shows the ATMs with cash so that you can go and fetch the cash.
4. Beware of Social Media: Social Media has become a platform to feed you false and wrong news on which people easily can trust. So better would be to instead of visiting and affirming on FB or twitter feed, open PIB or RBI websites which declares and lays down the truth and correct news about the same. Social Media now a days frames your mind in such a way that you always think right as happened to me in case of Kejriwal. Anyways don't let the posters, mimes and political pages mend your mind in their ways. Show some mindfulness and reasoning from your side too.
5. Let it prevail: Finally let this news to prevail to motivate fellows of your parents. You may start to share your expenditures in group and can also pay back through the e-wallets. You may also talk with your Uncle/Aunts in same way and to follow the above.
Disclaimer: There may appear some parents or people that look in transient to all above, it becomes our responsibility to tackle that situation even more brightly and wisely. There is nothing on which security can be guaranteed. Cloning of cards may be done so see if something cover type or enclosing is not built above the machine. Hide your pin while typing. No one is safe in online world but one can take advantage of its routine and alertness to prevent such cases. There may appear some counters where a minimum limit is set before you use POS. For them just show a pink note their brain would suffice. There also may exist people who will say that shall I study or help my parents, rather I would say it permits you a better chance to become friendly with them because this is not the examination perview. Moreover who are really very shy shall watch TVF's Qtiyapa with Dad, they may even stand apart from that Jeetu character. Coming to reliance Jio, if I think that their provided data is correct then lower middle classes are also using them. So time is to teach and train them. Of course we'll need government aid and trainees. I think we should call ITI trainee for such jobs or voluntarily anybody can help others regarding these five points. Moreover every political party today has a larger team of volunteers which can be exploited to serve people in making digital.
