Public Display of Affection
It's been widespread to show emotions, affections even in form of loves and kisses. But when these affections are executed publicly, many of us might become uncomfortable and conservative.
I am here on the first episode of think hatke, want to opine myself that the above phenomenon is not appropriate. Love is unjudgememtal, and those who are viewing should also become one. In short, PDA is directly visible in after office or non office hours, public places like bus stands, parks, malls, historical monuments and what not.
As Faiz said "bol ke lab azaad h tere", we must also practice tolerance, worship our freedom and obey other's private space. PDA is not new, like it started previous year or few years back. We are studying it from ancient years, from the time of Krishna to the time of Buddha. Only thing that remained same is our perception.
PDA shows the intensity of your love, How much well engaged with your partner. It also gives your partner an utter belief and firmness that is needed in the relation. Overall you're putting your best with him or her without creating or compromising at others nuisance.
I see this affection similar to the motherness. Being a mother, she delivers the baby, upbrings him/her and tries to give all the lives of this world. If PDA is inappropriate why don't we stop breast feeding in public. Ask the baby to shut up, and wait till the mother reaches a 'proper' place to that. If PDA is unusual, why we watch and criticise. Problem started with 'you' because you can't afford to have a partner and that's why busy in watching and criticising about this PDA. If PDA is nuisance that has rusted the society and our children are decaying , I say stop upbringing them here, le them to another moon, start your life from stone age.
The ugliness about PDA is so wide but still, never ever it can uproot it. It is better to give a blink to the every couple you see and just pass by. Have a wink and see - the world remains same as you want to see it - says Mahatma Gandhi.--
