Graduates in realm

Last year I read how a premier business school professor has advised India on building its economy through the engineers. I am going to talk about the same article.
The professor admired two things about engineering or any graduate in the country. First, value it is skillset a person acquires through its reading or literary. Even yesterday Sundar pressurised that we should come above the thinking to study hard for our scores only, instead we must take long risks and search for our interests and should invest greater time in it. Although academics are also important but this is how you going to develop your value in the market. Second, price the associated cost of anything. By simple economics anyone can infer that both are correlated. If price increases value decreases and vice versa. So being an Indian graduate you are give two chance to feature upon yourself. Either you grow your value or your price. How can one grow its price? The answer lies in the field of management and entrepreneurship where you will invest money and make cost of yourself. That's what all startups like Instagram and WhatsApp had done.
Moreover the professor also claims for proficiency in mathematics and English. Not all Indians can be like Keralites in fluent speaking, but everybody should learn and can learn from them. There are plenty of mechanisms available for improving English as your important manner of communication. Just be patient and do hardwork. Mathematics here essentially meant for simpler aptitude type problems. Anyone should be able to solve the problems he had learnt till his metric class. That's really enough and provides the real foundation.
It's right that the way the supply is for engineers in market, is not adequate as per the demand made by the companies. But the point I would criticise the author is that he says Maharashtra has the largest engineering colleges. I would rather see and feel more than 800 colleges in UP itself, in one of the institute where I am studying. It's not premier, nor its overachiever but its enough to give you a perspective and rote of engineering. AKTU itself has registered codes for 834 institutes in whole UP, that's why the status is even worse. The way engineers are being produced in such factories have changed the mood and mind of market. Now they have changed their criterias for selection. Now they are seeing your skill, qualities that you have overachieved even after remaining in college for four years and spending lakhs of rupees. What is more worse is the income they give. It's ok they give us 3 Lakh of ruppes annually and it's enough, smart enough to survive in an upcoming smart city. The reason is also the number of engineers produced every year. It's more than the number of required. So to place everyone they give small package to everyone and we also been ready for do it because we know we have done 'ghanta' in 4 years and have 'ghanta' capability that the company reserves.
This is the level of unemployment. And the reason is ourselves. The way Modi beats his chest on showing 65℅ population should remarkably weep on this scenario. If he really cares for us he would have supported the updated version of Minimum Wages act and should have been presented in the Lok Sabha. Only Delhi offers you the more than expected salary annually (more than 3L). Seriously as engineers we cannot step into it, what we can do is to improve our skillset as per the requirement of the job. Else 3L has been on table for you, grab it if you can survive. And later you will simply be fired because you really were not required it's because I have dealt with your college I have to heir you, now I don't need you any more. These things are growing common these days and yes we are the reason. Factfully, today engineering is not in as demand as it was a decade ago. That's why value has gone down and since most of us don't want to take risk after 8L of risk we don't opt for startups. That's why price also goes down.
So in the end choose wisely, prefer yourself, prioritise yourself and you will win, for sure atleast.
