This is the most common travel plan that most people plan to visit, three destinations together in Tamil Nadu, in a couple of days. This plan is a brainchild of my cousin, who used to plan her trip, along with their parents because she wants them to visit char dhams (four pilgrimages). Indeed, my uncle, who has retired and they try to spend some quality time sitting at home, so it’s better for them to keep visiting us here in Bangalore so that we can plan some trips with them. This travelogue might not be unique but frankly speaking about the idea, it has been taken from someone else’s blog. But travel is not unique, because the places are constant, we travel to see them all the time, but the habitat remains same, it’s the people along the journey which beats up everything and make the journey remembers. Please stick with me on this four-day momentous journey. Day 1: Bangalore to Madurai We booked the train from KSR Bengaluru to Madurai. There are two families (one ours and the ot

Mysuru: The heritage capital of Karnataka

When I took off from Delhi, my offer letter stated I need to be at Mysore. When I waited at Majestic Bus stand for Mysore bus conductor was calling out the name "Mysoor Mysoor Mysoor", I double checked if this bus goes to Mysore. On the way, I read about this pronunciation and it was derived from Mahishasur. Say this 10 times as fast as you can and it will get shorten to Mahisur. For once, I even forgot my own blog address, and hardly remember or cared to write anything. But here I am, I am wishfully thinking to resume writing again. Let's start. Where was I, all that long? I was placed at Infosys. To be more boastful, India's no 2 IT company is worth. Although by living here in two years, genuinely I have never thought it that proficient. So 2 Oct, it was that I landed in Mysore. We were college friends, went inside a life-changing 4 months long training. Why life-changing may be in some other blog. But there I hardly any time to think and write. Only thing I was busy taking photographs . After that, I was moved to production at Pune. There I was on bench until I was taken to Bangalore for a project. From then I have closed one project, survived bench again, and been i
